VISION – NO BRAIN LEFT BEHIND
Women In Innovation (WIN) is a community for women innovators who transform the way we live and work. We inspire innovation for a thriving world. A world where there is equity in the ability to participate independent of one’s gender, age, ethnicity or socio-economic status. WIN supports multi-disciplinary, multi-gender, multi-cultural, multi-generational diverse teams to inspire innovation and help our world thrive. It is a world in which everyone who is keen to build a better world, has skills and access to participate in innovation practices.
MISSION – COACHING WOMEN WITH BIG IDEAS
Women in Innovation provides coaching for women with big ideas. We facilitate the successful pursuit of innovation for change. Our events and the summit bring together leaders of innovation, innovative leaders, women in technology and innovative social change leaders. This diversity of perspectives creates opportunities for innovation to happen. Women are world class in sharing. When women own their innovation process they will share it. The more women innovate, the process creates a change within a change.
We serve women innovators through consulting, coaching, research, collaboration and convening to:
IGNITE WOMEN TO INNOVATE
We want to ensure that great ideas see the light of day. We offer a menu of services to support creativity and innovation in order to be put into practical use, shared, scaled and sustained. Not all women who come up with innovative ideas want to or need to become entrepreneurs but everyone needs to know where to take their ideas, they need a place for their ideas.
SUPPORT WOMEN TO INNOVATE
Innovation is not a solo game. We want women to be “resourced” for collaborative innovation; they work well in collaborative teams. Besides funding, innovators need support in a variety of ways: mentoring, connections, peer advice, training and coaching to stay on task and focused during every step of the way in the innovation process.
ADVISOR TO ORGANIZATIONS
Too often organizations overlook the potential within their own organizations, and don’t optimize the opportunities for innovation. By embracing the strengths of high performing teams, organizations can strategically develop their innovation quotient. It may also be strategically vital to bring in outside perspectives to cause the disruption and needed change. WIN can bring in new thinking, new voices and shake off the complacency.
